During your two days with us you will learn all about Lean manufacturing and its direct application to the graphic arts industry. The concepts of Lean will be discussed along with case studies of print industry firms undergoing a Lean transformation. Experiential exercises to engage participants in the learning process are included along with discussion of concepts. A truly unique feature of this program is our “Dinner on the town” – workshop facilitators will host dinner and facilitate discussions with participants on their specific issues around implementing Lean in their businesses. This personalized experience allows participants to directly engage the workshop leaders in a unique way and ensures you leave with the tools required to take the first steps on your own Lean Pathway. The authors are also facilitating the workshop. Workshop Dates: May 18 (Monday) the program runs from Noon to 5 p.m. and includes a dinner with the workshop presenters beginning at 7 p.m. at a local restaurant. May 19 (Tuesday) the program will begin at 8 a.m. and close with lunch by 1 p.m. This format allows participants to fly in to San Luis Obispo Monday morning and be back home by Tuesday evening.
